The dealer must have an “overcall” of 22 points or more.
Choose a combination of two pairs to get 21 points.

You may receive an additional card from the dealer. It is necessary to get 21 points or close to it. Most importantly, you lose if you don’t get 22 or more.

Doubling: the player may double the initial bet if they are confident they will outperform the dealer. It is then allowed to draw one card per “hand”.
Surrender: in some blackjack games, a player may stop and surrender if he is not sure he will win. If this happens, he loses half of his bet.
The value of the points is determined by the face value of the cards:
Ace has a number of 1, or 11.
Jack, queen, and king are ten.
Cards with a face value of 2-10.
If the first two cards have more than 11 points, the ace counts as 1. The ace plus 11 in case they add up to 10 or less.
